The Civic Implications of Kids' Participation with Digital Media

Project Description

This longitudinal study examined how digital media influences civic commitments, capacities and activities in late adolescence. We surveyed students in 2006 and 2007, and conducted a final survey in 2009. The goal was to examine how use of digital media for communication, information seeking, political/civic discussion and organization, and playing games affects young people's civic development, capacities, and activities.
