The Black Youth Project began in 2003 as national research project examining the attitudes, resources, and culture of African American youth, ages 15-25. The project now provides an online hub with discussion groups, blogs, and other online resources and tools to support the empowerment of young African Americans.

Youth Radio promotes young people's intellectual, creative, and professional growth through education and access to media. Youth Radio’s media education, broadcast journalism, technical training and production activities provide unique opportunities in social, professional and leadership development for youth, ages 14-24. Youth Radio works to cultivate the natural resilience and strength of young people.
